Releasev2.5
Stick & Swing
Ink & Motion
The pages are alive. Update 2.5 brings expressive fighters, living environments, and sharper combat feedback to both chapters.
A world that moves
- Rain crosses the harbor, dust drifts through the archive, gears turn in the foundry, and the beacon sweeps across the water.
- Ink stains and broken cover briefly remain after a fight. Rescued drawings react from the edges of the page.
Feel each swing
- Fighters lean into attacks, brace their guard, recoil on impact, and show cracks as they take damage. Scrapsteel cuts cleanly, Pagebreaker leaves heavy fractures, and Emberbrand paints fiery arcs.
- Enemies break apart with distinct ink, armor, healing-thread, and tether effects. Boss entrances, second phases, and defeats get short visual accents.
Find your flow
- Land consecutive swings to build a brighter visual rhythm. Taking damage resets it, and inactivity lets it fade. Flow is cosmetic: it gives no damage bonus.
- The camera adds subtle impact and pulls back for boss windups. Mouse aim stays aligned with the moving scene.
Keep the fight clear
- Gold marks blockable warnings, red marks floor danger, green marks healing, purple marks tethers, and blue marks exploration targets. Existing warning shapes and attack symbols remain.
- Living environments, impact camera, and combat flow effects have separate settings. Reduced effects stops ambient motion, camera movement, and flow effects while keeping essential attack warnings.
- Both chapters, combat balance, and existing progress are preserved. New settings and patch notes are available in all six website languages.
