Releasev2.2

Stick & Swing

The Living Sketchbook

Three chapters. New ways to fight. A book full of drawings worth finding. Update 2.2 makes the adventure bigger and gives you more ways to make it yours.

Beyond the second page

  • The Torn Binding extends the adventure from eight to twelve stops. Face the Margin Knight, a new final boss with sword and shield stances.
  • Meet Crossblade, Needle Scribe, Shield Weaver, and Inkwright. Six new arena layouts add breakable cover, moving ink, and explosive barrels.
  • Six story events offer choices with visible costs and rewards. Rescue forgotten drawings or accept the hidden Palimpsest duel to earn its unique seal.

Master your blade

  • Each weapon has an active ability. Lunge with Scrapsteel, smash the ground with Pagebreaker, or cast a flame fan with Emberbrand. Use Q by default, or the Ability touch button.
  • Three mastery challenges per weapon unlock an alternate finishing strike, an alternate ability, and a cosmetic scarf. Equip them in the Workshop for your next run.
  • Twenty-six gifts now include ability upgrades and new ways to combine your build. Your build page explains useful gift combinations.

Play your way

  • Practice any enemy or boss phase with optional invincibility and visible ranges. Your adventure is preserved; practice grants no progression.
  • Boss Rush puts the three main bosses back to back. Start with three gifts, prepare between fights, and track a best time for each weapon.
  • Remap keyboard controls, use a standard controller, and choose touch control size and side. Weapon effects, enemy silhouettes, chapter scenery, and combat audio have been expanded.

Keep your story

  • The Workshop tracks mastery, the journal remembers discovered enemies and rescued drawings, and recent history keeps your last ten completed attempts.
  • A copyable bug report includes the game version, seed, route, build, controls, and recent errors. Add what happened before sharing it; nothing is sent automatically.
  • Compatible 2.1 checkpoints continue into the longer adventure. Older clear records stay saved; twelve-stop adventure and Boss Rush records are tracked separately. Saves remain on this browser and device.
